SAGA & GNTA MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

On Friday, the 22nd of April, The President of the Georgian Association of Guides, Kety Meladze, and the Head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, Giorgi Chogovadze, signed a memorandum of agreement between the Georgian Association and GNTA which stated that in moving towards recognition of Tour Guiding as a profession, GNTA will support, recognize and use the certified members of the association for any future guiding needs of the Georgian Tourism Administration

INFOTOUR: VAZIANI WINE COMPANY

Members of the Georgian Association of Guides enjoyed a beautiful day in Kakheti this past weekend visiting Vaziani Company . The Guides toured the recently renovated wine production facilities and had a delightful afternoon tasting Vaziani wines and enjoying the incredible view. A big thank you to Vaziani Company for the opportunity to check out another great stop & (FREE WINE TASTING destination) for tourists!

NEW & UPCOMING AT SAGA

  • The English Language Program for SAGA Members started on May 10th and will continue to be held Tuesdays & Thursdays from 17.00-19.00 at SAGA’s office (Janashia St. 5) Contact the office for more information!
  • 54% of SAGA Members responded they’d be most interested in Business Development Training—SAGA has submitted a project proposal and hopes to offer the training in June! Stay tuned for more information about applying for participation in the training!
  • Monthly Seminars!  The Georgian Association of Guides has started having monthly seminars at the National Library, these seminars will highlight topics that are useful and interesting for guides. If you have an idea for a topic or would like to attend, contact the office! The next seminar will be Friday, the 17th of June at 17.00!
